Sneak Peek 06.26.08

This Sunday, we'll return to our "Journey thru Genesis", focusing on key stories in the lives of key characters in the Book of Genesis. So far, we learned:

• from Noah's life that God keeps his promises. And since God can be trusted, we can risk trusting others.
• from Abram's life that the place God is taking you is better than any story from your past. But to get there, you have to hear God’s voice, step out in faith, and act on God’s promises.

When the series began, I thought we'd be talking about Isaac this week. But as I studied through the week I came to the conclusion that the story of Isaac’s conception was a whole lot more about Sarah and God’s promise than it was about the child.

So this week we'll learn a key principle from Sarah's life that brings hope to ours.
