Ice Day

We woke this morning to a coating of ice on everything. That means schools are closed.

Ice Days aren't nearly as fun as Snow Days. On Snow Days, the kids cant wait to go outside and play, leaving the house quiet. But Ice Days are no fun. You can't really play with ice. And ice is a whole lot tougher to remove from cars and sidewalks than snow.

Thankfully, the temperature is supposed to rise through the day, turning the ice to rain. I'm hoping that rain washes the ice off the sidewalk and car for me. We'll have to wait and see.
