Back in the Saddle

I'm back from Huntington, IN. What was I doing there? Janet and I were invited to attend the Birdsall Clergy Couple Retreat sponsored by the Huntington University Graduate School of Christian Ministry.

It began Thursday evening and ended following worship on Sunday morning. Essentially, it was an opportunity to gather with other clergy couples for the purpose of discussion, support, and relaxation.

It was fantastic! We met some wonderful new friends. And we also had some much needed time together.

Now it's back to "reality". Jim has an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon this morning. I have a discipleship meeting tonight. In between, I hope to get some time in the office. And a workout this afternoon would probably be a smart call.

Somehow, I couldn't roll out this morning at 5. Sorry Derek!
