I am a "routine" person. By that I mean that once I get in a groove, I tend to stay in the groove. Once I'm out of the groove, I tend to stay out. And for the past couple weeks, I've been out of the groove in following my Bible reading plan.One of the primary reasons I began blogging about my experience was to provide a level of accountability. It forces me to either write an article each Wednesday, or explain why I did not.
So, once again, I found myself playing catch-up. Since I have failed to read my assignment since last week, I read an entire week of passages this afternoon. I was grateful to hit the genealogies of 1 Chronicles. (They are easy to skim!)
Well, I'm caught up. Now if I can just bump myself back into the groove of reading daily, life will be easier.
