The Week Before

It's the week before vacation. Beginning Sunday afternoon, I will spend 14 days away from the computer...away from the phone...away from all the things that typically fill my days.

What are we doing? Spending time together as a family. Do we have a plan? Yes...sort of. But the plan will be subject to daily adjustment. That's what we do on vacation.

But before I can head out, there are details to cover. I'm pushing hard to get myself worked ahead far enough to be able to "get out of Dodge" without leaving things in the air.

Oh...and it's fair week. That means taking 2 shifts with Jim in the Boy Scout Pizza booth (Wednesday afternoon and Friday evening). Oh...and it Clarence Boyd baseball tournament week. That means games and practices for David.

It's going to be a crazy week. But it's so worth it!
