Having kids involved in athletics is a great way to loose control of your life. Practices, games, make-ups, and travel continually conspire to dominate family life. But today, we reached a new level.
Yesterday, it rained...a lot. Tonight, we had a Little League baseball game scheduled. Late this afternoon, it rained some more. I thought surely the game would be cancelled. But it wasn't.
So, we rushed through homework, and got to the field to discover a muddy mess. Raking and shoveling ensued, as a little sun began to peek through the clouds. We were just about ready to play, when the game was postponed until tomorrow.
There's just one problem. We have other things on the calendar for tomorrow. Now what?
