Home Improvement Update

We are in the midst of another home improvement project. And this one is big... kitchen remodel.

So far, we've had a garbage disposal (exciting, huh?) and under-cabinet lighting installed. I've changed the kitchen light fixture and range hood. The only problem is that I bought "bisque" instead of white and didn't realize the problem until after it was installed. Bummer. Back to Lowe's.

We're also having the cabinets, backsplash, and trim painted, new hardware installed, a new countertop and new kitchen faucet installed. Oh, we're also replacing the cooktop and wall oven.

Right now, everything from the kitchen is scattered across the dining and living rooms. It's a pain, but the end result will be worth it. When we're done, we'll essentially have a new kitchen.

We'll also have exhausted the home equity line of credit. So that will have to be it...for a while.
