- What if we were 100% devoted to Jesus instead of living with secret sin?
- What if we forgave each other instead of harboring bitterness and anger?
This week, we asked, "What if we believed God enough to stop robbing Him?
Robbing Him? When did I do that? Find out here.
God's plan for handling money is simple: make it ethically...save some of it...spend it wisely...help the poor...tithe.
Tithe? What's that? The first 10% of all the income God enables you to earn is His. It's the tithe. And He expects His people to bring the whole tithe to the local church to finance the work of ministry. It's that simple. It's that specific. But too often, it's not what we do.
Many of us receive our paychecks and cover our bills and desires first. Then we give God some of what's left over. The problem is that because we haven't honored God first, we end up not having enough to give God his whole tithe. And we end up robbing God.
God's plan goes the other way. God instructs us to honor Him first by giving the tithe. And when we do, an amazing thing happens. He provides everything we need, and then some.
So, the question is? Do you believe God? Do you believe that He is able to secure your soul? Do you believe that He is able to secure your financial position? Do you believe Him enough to make yesterday the last day you rob Him?

Thanks for the affirmation. This series has been challenging to prepare and preach. But God is working and I give Him all the glory.
