I know I'm a day late with this post. Here's why...
Yesterday, I participated in our cluster meeting, a meeting that was held in Churchville, VA (just west of Staunton). We left at 6:30 am and returned shortly after 5:00 pm. After appointments at 5:30, 6:30 and 8:00, I got home a little after 9:00, totally exhausted. So, this morning I'm playing a little catch up.
The Sermon on the Mount. What can I say? There are so few passages in the Bible that cause me to revel in God's grace more than this. Nearly every verse makes me say, "Ouch", leading me to confession of sin. And God forgives. What amazing grace!
Often, this passage makes me desire to work harder to overcome sin in my life. This time, the strong cry of my heart is to be more gracious.
Lord, grant me the grace to do both.

I have officially entered the blogger-sphere. I'm hoping it's ok, but I put a link to your blog on mine. You certainly do not need to feel obligated to do the same. I'm directing readers to you because I think it's worth their while. If you prefer not to be linked, it's no problem. Happy blogging.
e.p. I am glad you put the link there cause I've been enjoying reading your blog as well as PJs. And for some reason I have never been introduced to Phil Keaggy. Wow. I have really been enjoying listening to his music. I just don't know why I have not been aware of him. Hmmmm. Anyway, he certainly is awesome. He would be a good one to have at the new performing arts center at Ship U. Anyone out there have connections???
