I have always found Isaiah to be a difficult book. I just seems that the same message is being repeated over...and over...and over...
- God proclaims his people's sin
- God announces judgement
- God promises restoration
Please don't get me wrong. It's a great message. What an amazing thing to know that God promises restoration. But I wonder how often we take that for granted.
We know God will forgive and restore. That means we can do what we want, and then ask to be forgiven later. Right?
WRONG!!!
Maybe I need to read Isaiah again, reveling in God's grace.
