The account of Elijah on Mt. Carmel never fails to amaze me.God displays his power in a mighty way. The king threatens Elijah's life. Elijah runs. An angel provides food and drink for Elijah's escape. And when he finally arrives, God asks, "Why are you here?" Elijah complains. God says, "They rejected me, not you. Get back to work".
Leadership isn't always easy. Actually, it rarely is. But what an opportunity to see God display his power in mighty ways!
