It's Wednesday, and I'm glad to report that I'm up to date on my reading. What a journey it has been to read so many Psalms. Some complaining, some rejoicing, some desperate, some victorious. That is life. Many strophes struck me, but here's one that was especially powerful to me:

Good people see this and are glad;
bad people are speechless, stopped in their tracks.
If you are really wise, you'll think this over—
it's time you appreciated God's deep love.(Psalm 107:42-43)
Thought:
We live in such a fast-paced world that it's hard to convince yourself of the value of contemplation. But that's exactly what's needed to appreciate God's deep love.
