Work Out Update - 11.14.06

My first weeks of going to the gym at 5:30 are over. I have settled into a routine, and have really come to enjoy meeting Derek. But last week, I did something stupid. I pushed myself a little too hard.

I knew I was pushing it on the back exercises when I was doing it. But the ramifications didn't start to appear until 2 days later. The muscles in my lower back went into spasms. OUCH!

But I am undeterred. I am not going to allow a little (actually, quite a bit) of pain keep me from going to the gym. I'm just staying away from anything close to back exercises.

This morning, I rode the reclined bike. It felt good to have my back supported. And over the past couple days, my back muscles have started to relax (thanks to medication and stretching).

So there's this week's update. I'm in week three of my 30-day free trial. Soon, I'll have to decide whether or not to actually pay for this.
