I decided that my pursuit of a sandwich was more important than taking time to talk with Tony. The sub shop clerk decided that keeping those awkward plastic gloves on was more important than running the cash register. The shoe store clerk decided that stocking shelves was more important than greeting and assisting a customer. The copier salesman decided whatever he was doing was more important than selling copiers.

I'm afraid the latter is most common. That has to change. We need to develop a ministry team to make identifying and serving guests a high priority. Please join me in praying that God would raise up people to develop and serve in this important ministry.
And all that out of a simple lunch break!

Your simple lunch break has caused me to wonder how many of God's messages I have missed because of my own agendas. You got me thinking!!! A good thing!!!
Thank you for the deliberate greeting extended this A.M. it was important and special to my guest.
I didn't know why I extended the greeting time. Now I do. It wasn't planned. It always amazes me when God does something like this!
