Noone debates the fact that our culture is sexually driven. That's why you can't watch TV with your family without seeing commercials advertising Viagra therapy or promoting products offering a remedy for E.D. (and I don't mean Doctor of Education).
But while it seems like everyone is obsessed with it, the last place people expect to hear some frank discusion about sex is in church. Why is that?
If the world has pornified sexuality, the Church has prude-ified it. We treat it like it's something dirty (to be saved for the one you love!). Huh?!?
But the Scriptures are not quiet on the subject. In fact, there's a whole book of the Bible on the subject. And that's where we're going this coming Sunday.
