Zing Went the Strings

Well, my first experience with public guitar playing is past. For objective review, it's probably best to ask someone who was there. But, from my perspective, it went OK. We didn't fall apart, but it was far from professional. There was one chord that I struggled to play. It was going to a Bm from a G in the chorus portion of "Come, Now is the Time to Worship". I had two opportunities. I hit it once.

Now, the way I look at it, if a baseball player hits .500, he's a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame. So, I guess it's worth giving it another shot sometime down the road. Ultimately, I had a blast. I'm really enjoying having some extra time during these summer months to be more involved in music ministries.

Tomorrow, some dear friends are visiting for the day, so I thought I'd enter my posts tonight. For my American readers, have a great 4th of July celebration. I'll be back after the fireworks.

Thanks for playing, I know you didn't have to do it. Strings sounded great. Didn't notice any missed cords. Please keep it up cause it really adds to our worship experience.
