Today is the 2nd day of being alone in the house. Janet is in Ohio on our Youth Mission Project at the Joy of Living Camp. The boys are with their grandparents. That leaves me to do whatever I want to do.
So what did I do yesterday? I spent most of the day in my office. I know that's not really exciting for most people, but that's what I did. When my family goes away, that's what I generally do. That way, when the family comes back, I can spend more time with them.
This afternoon, I'm planning to play some golf with some folks from church. I'm looking forward to getting to know them better.
Tonight, I'll work on my September and October preaching plans while keeping an eye on the MLB All-Star game.
That is, if it doesn't rain.
