On Monday, we had our first board meeting since our weekend with Ken Quick. It was a big night for us, so I didn't get around to posting. Yesterday, it was too nice to stay in the office. So, Craig and I had a strolling staff meeting (otherwise known as golf), and I didn't get around to posting. But today is Wednesday, and before I forget, it's time to write.
Sunday, we returned to our series on the family. Our baseline assumption is that noone wants us to experience healthy family relationships than God does. He wants it so much that He has given us a lot of advice on how to live life together as a family. Here's what we looked at this week:
- An excellent wife builds up her home. (Proverbs 14:1).
- An excellent wife watches her words. (Proverbs 27:15).
- An excellent wife decorates herself with discretion. (Proverbs 11:22).
- An excellent wife brings her husband good. (Proverbs 31:12).
- There are great benefits to being an excellent wife. (Proverbs 31:28).
- The key to being an excellent wife is developing relationship with God. (Proverbs 31:30).
