This morning I tried something different. As a means of using the senses to celebrate God in prayer, I reflected on His greatness and creativity while watching an episode of "Sunrise Earth" in HD.
This morning's episode included scenes from a cave in Maine. The description on the website describes it this way...

"From within a dark sea cave carved out of a cliff, we look towards the east and catch the sun rising over the ocean. The tide is low and the pools within the cave hold delicate young northern anemones, white and pink, as well as red coralline algae and common periwinkles. The rhythmic surge of ribbon kelp in the easy surf and the natural acoustics of the cavern provide soothing echoes in the spirit of Mendelssohn's Fingal's Cave overture. Cave swallows dart in and out of the entrance to feed their young, nesting in the cliff wall overhead."
What an amazing experience! Waves lapping at the shore...water trickling from a fresh-water spring...wildlife flittering here and there...rocks, leaves, ground...all the amazing creation of our glorious Lord.
What a wonderful time of prayer!
