For the past couple of weeks, I have been tormented by a male robin that has been attacking our living room windows.
To understand the trauma, you have to understand that I hate birds...actually I'm a little afraid of them...well...more than a little. I think it's because I saw the Alfred Hitchcock classic "The Birds" a little too early. So to have a bird pecking at my windows brings nightmares to my life that I find hard to explain.
I thought it would stop by raising the blinds so that the bird wouldn't see itself as well. That didn't work.
I though putting rakes in front of the window would get in the bird's way. That didn't work either. This psychotic bird just selects other another window or works around the rake.
I'm out of ideas (and rakes). So, I guess my only other option is murder. I wonder how to do this? Shooting isn't an option, since I don't want to break my window. I've heard that alka seltzer is effective, but I don't really want to kill innocent birds. I could try a net, but then I'd have a live bird to deal with.
Any thoughts?

I think this is God's way of teaching you about aversion therapy!
