Those of you who planned to hear the last sermon in our 3-week series called, "Countdown to Christmas" can rest easy. You will hear it, just not yesterday.
This coming weekend, we're doing a split weekend, moving one service to Saturday night for our Christmas musical. So when will I plug in yesterday's sermon?
Well, the theme of the sermon is dealing with times when Jesus doesn't live up to their expectations. That's a message that will preach at any time of year. I've decided to rewrite the sermon with a New Year theme.
I'll preach it the first Sunday of 2008.
