Recharging

My family and I usually spend the week between Christmas and New Year's Day out of town. Typically, we spend it at Janet's parent's house. We're still doing that. There's only one difference...her parents aren't home. That gives us the whole house to ourselves. It's like being at a first class resort house.

We're spending lots of time with people this week. So far, we've visited Janet's Uncle and Aunt in New Holland, PA and one of Janet's college friends who live near Downingtown, PA. Tomorrow, my friends from Allentown and Myerstown will come spend the day with us. On Sunday, we're planning to visit friends in Akron, PA. Monday brings friends from Reading.

But today, it's just us...all day.

I drank coffee while watching the horses in the pasture behind the house. I listened to 5 episodes of "The News from Lake Wobegone" podcasts on the MP3 player I received for Christmas. I played with the boys on the Playstation2 they received for Christmas. We're having a great time!

We'll return to town on New Year's Day. Until then, we'll be recharging.
