Workout Update

Some may be wondering if I'm still being faithful to my workout schedule. I am happy to report that I am. I have come to realize that I need this exercise, and that I don't feel as well when I miss. So, on days that I just can't seem to drag myself out of bed at 5 am, I do everything I can to get there in the afternoon.

This morning, something different happened.

I have been exhausted for several days. So when the alarm went off, I nearly stayed in bed. But I drug myself to the gym, just in time to meet Derek. I had no energy at all. It took all I had to walk up the steps to the treadmills. We warmed up for 5 minutes, then headed downstairs to work shoulders.

That's when it happened.

I suggested that a sauna sounded like a good idea. Derek agreed. So instead of lifting, we sat and sweated. I know it wasn't as profitable for me as a good workout, but it sure was more enjoyable.

I'll get back to the routine tomorrow.
