- Be able to tell the story in less than one minute, using 100 words or less
- Eliminate all "church talk"
- Leave the listener wanting to know more
After a few revisions, here's the story so far (in 97 words)...
"I was raised going to church. But it wasn’t until my junior year in college that a relationship with God became important to me. Thinking about graduating left me anxious about the future. My track record of decision making wasn’t good and that scared me. I read in the Bible that if you commit your whole life to God, that He would guide your life. That’s exactly what I needed. So I invited Jesus to take control of my life. And He has taken me on the most amazing and fulfilling journey I could have ever imagined."
Here's where I need your help. Did I meet my goals? I'd love to know what you think. So go ahead and leave your comments. Your suggestion just might have eternal consequences.

Pastor Jim,
I have been so blessed by your sermons over the last year or so. After each message I look forward to putting what I have learned into action in my life. I find myself thirsting for more and sure enough each Sunday you give me more from God's word to implement in my life. I am filled with so much joy at times I hardly know what to do with myself. God has truly blessed me and his blessings have come because I have been obedient in seeking his will for my life. God is using you to lead and guide me as I grow in the Lord.
Brenda,
I am both humbled and encouraged by your comment. It is such an honor to help people, like you, who are striving to walk as Jesus walked. Keep looking to Him. He is doing a great work in you.
