Vacation Bible School kicked off last night.Now, for the most part, I've never been a big fan of VBS. But I love what our Children's Ministries Team is doing. We're using a sports camp as our program. Kids can choose from soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and crafts. Most of the night is spent on those activities.
My kids love it! And I really think it's a great way to tap into the sports-crazed culture we live in. Please pray for us. Pray that God would bring kids who need to know Jesus. Pray that we will clearly communicate grace in our words and actions.And pray that when it's time for a presentation of the gospel, that God will give me His voice in words kids can understand.
