Sunday Rewind 4.1.07

In addition to resisting the temptation to make sure I don't have a spider on my head (which both of my sons thought was a hysterical April fool), yesterday we kicked off Holy Week with our Easter musical, "My Savior, My God".

The choir did a great job. It continues to be a joy to see our director, Michelle, grow.

And I really enjoyed preaching with a group in song. The gospel was proclaimed clearly and powerfully. And when it was over, heaven's ranks were increased as one person prayed to receive Christ as Savior. How cool is that!?!

So, now it's on through the rest of the week. The schedule includes:

• Maundy Thursday Service
• Community Good Friday Service
• Easter Eve Service, and finally,
• Easter Day Services

What a great way to celebrate this most important week in the Christian year!
