Back from the Prayer Gathering

I've returned to the office after spending my morning joining with about 50 pastors and church leaders from the Franklin County, PA area in prayer. What a fantastic time!

The morning began with a time of introductions, singing, and an address on the theme for the day...repentance.

We then spent the next hour seeking God's face in repentance of the following areas:

• Racism
• Gender Prejudice
• Age Segregation
• Class System
• Political Agendas

We also prayed for:

• The President and Congress
• Peace for our Land and the World
• Individual Nations of the World

This was a wonderful morning. The next gathering is scheduled for April 4, 2007. Falling in the midst of Holy Week, it should be quite a time of worship.
