Strange Reasons to Give Thanks

This week, I am serving Holy Communion to people who are physically unable to come to church. This experience always adjusts my perspective on challenges and blessings. I find that some of the things I complain about are much better than the alternatives that are the everyday reality for many people. For example, you can give thanks for indigestion when you realize how many people in the world have nothing to eat. Get it?

So this week, I thought I'd compile a list of "Strange Reasons to Give Thanks".

Here's my starter list:
1. Driving in heavy traffic.
2. An insanely busy schedule.
3. Exercise.
4. Telemarketers.

What's on your list?
