Why I Blog

I am one who believes regular critique is important. Recently, I've been evaluating why I spend time blogging. That took be all the way back to the beginning.

I started blogging out of a desire to learn a modern communication tool. It was a curiosity at first. But then I realized that it could be an effective way of sharing the journey of my life with my friends.

That's the reason I launched PeaJay's Place. But then something happened.

I started to see the blog as a good tool for communicating information. As time went by, informational content increased and relational content decreased. Then vacation came.

Since then, the content of the blog has been virtually exclussively information, with little to no relational content. That's not why I write this blog. So it's time to revisit my blogging roots.

For those of you who appreciate the Sunday Rewinds and other regular features, don't worry. I'll continue to post those articles.

But it's time to return to sharing life, and a good cup of coffee together. That's why I blog.
