Friends come...friends go. It's all part of the normal pattern of life. The lifelong friendships our parents enjoyed seem to be another victim of our modern world. It seems that we just don't have the time to maintain multiple close friendships, much less make new friends.
Then we go to church and we're told we're supposed to reach out to new friends. But where's that time coming from? Let's face it, none of us can befriend every new person who walks through the doors of the church. So how do we decide whom we will approach?
This is when James 2:1-17 becomes an extremely valuable passage of Scripture.
