Take Me Out to the Ballgame

There's nothing quite like a ballgame to recharge the batteries and reset the mind. So I'm grateful to the athletics department staff at Shippensburg University for hosting the NCAA Division II Regional softball tournament this weekend. It gave me the opportunity to sit in the sun, watch some ball, and just unplug for awhile.

I think the thing I love most about a ballgame is the lack of a clock. There is no time at a ballgame...only sequence. Now, I have to admit, an 11 inning softball game was a bit too much sequence, but what a refreshing way to spend an afternoon.

This morning's wedding is 2 hours away. I'm opening to the joy.

Thank you, Father, for providing my daily bread through the simplicity of a ballgame.
