Getting Ready for Costa Rica

I became somewhat apprehensive about going to Costa Rica yesterday.

I'm no world traveler. In fact, I've never been out of the country as an adult. My idea of packing for a trip is a toothbrush, a change of underwear, and maybe a clean shirt. So I asked our Director of Global Ministries for a list of reccomended items to pack for the trip. Here are the 1st 5 items on the list, in exactly the same order I received it:

Pepto Bismol
Immodium
OFF
Aspirin
Anti-itch cream, antibiotic cream, band aids

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Pepto and Immodium did the same thing! Another item on the list is those small Kleenex packs, which I'm told are important to take to use as toilet paper. Now here's where I get really concerned. If I need both Pepto and Immodium, are those little pocket-sized packs of tissues really going to be much help?

Well, I guess that's enough grossness for today. I'm really looking forward to the trip. I'm excited to see how God is building His Church through the ministry of my brothers and sisters in San Jose.
