A Glorious Day

Wow! What a day.

At 1:00 today, I had myself at Shippensburg University to watch the baseball team in action. To me, there's nothing quite like a ballgame to relax and enjoy some "unplugged" time. After 5 innings, the game was well in hand (we won 6-1). And by then, the University softball team was in the middle of their game with Bloomsburg. When I arrived during the 5th inning, it was a 0-0 game. We won in 8 innings, 1-0. From there, I picked up the boys at home and headed to the High School baseball field, where we won by 1 run. That makes me 3-0 today. Life is good!

By the way, both the University games were double-headers. A quick check of the scoreboard tells me that both teams lost their 2nd games. Hmmm... I'm there, we win. I'm not, we lose. Hmmm...

Anyway, what a great day to enjoy the beautiful day God made. And my thanks to all the players, coaches and support staff who made my day so grand!

The schedule isn't posted yet. But I have found SU baseball quite enjoyable as well. Next home game is Friday, a double header against Cal of PA starting at 1.

Okay...everybody sing...

Take me out to the ballgame...
